For the 35th year, Adas Yoshuron Synagogue will sponsor an Easter Day Community Dinner, April 5, from 12:30-2:30 p.m., at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 11 White Street, Rockland.

The meal is a sit-down ham dinner with all the fixings, dessert and drinks, according to a news release.

"The April 5 dinner is provided by the many people and businesses in our community," said the release.

ROCKPORT — MaineHealth Cardiology Rockport is expanding access to specialized cardiovascular care with the launch of an in-person Advanced Heart Failure Program on the MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital campus this month. The program will make it easier for patients in the Midcoast region to receive advanced heart failure care close to home, according to a MaineHealth news release.

As Maine is grappling with its first case of measles since 2019, lawmakers last week considered two bills that would increase access to vaccines by expanding the ability of pharmacists to prescribe and administer vaccines, requiring insurance carriers to cover vaccines and allowing the Maine Vaccine Board to consider recommendations from trusted medical organizations in addition to those put forward by the federal government.
