'Kites and Ice Cream' at Beech Hill Preserve, Sept. 26

ROCKPORT — "Come fly a kite" as Coastal Mountains Land Trust hosts Kites & Ice Cream, Saturday, Sept. 26, from 1:30 - 4 p.m., at Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport. This afternoon event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
Free kites will be provided for registered children, along with a coupon for a complimentary ice cream cone from Sugar Plum’s ice cream trailer; ice cream will also be available for sale for adults, according to CMLT, in a news release.
To register your child for a free kite, please go to the home page at coastalmountains.org and look for the Kites & Ice Cream Registration button.
An adult must accompany children throughout the event. Please leave your pets at home.

Beech Hill Preserve is a 295-acre conservation property in Rockport, managed for the complementary purposes of maintaining its scenic beauty, historic value, grassland bird habitat, and organic blueberry production.
Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 13,500 acres, offering 55 miles of trails for public recreation.
