Waldo County closed cases
BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court Sept. 2-8.
Cheryl Briggs, 60, of Belfast, probation violation in Belfast May 21, 2021, four years in prison and probation partially revoked; aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Belfast April 14, dismissed; unlawful possession of methamphetamine in Belfast April 14, dismissed; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Belfast April 14, dismissed; unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug in Belfast April 14, four years in prison and $400 fine.
Ian C. Freeman, 39, of Brooks, two counts of theft by deception in Searsmont April 29, 2022, two years in prison for each count; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Belfast Dec. 29, 2024, dismissed; violating a condition of release in Belfast Dec. 29, 2024, dismissed; aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs in Brooks June 18, 2025, dismissed; unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Brooks June 18, 2025, eight years in prison with all but two years suspended, three years of probation, and $400 fine; violating a condition of release in Brooks June 18, 2025, 90 days in jail; criminal forfeiture, forfeiture upheld.
Christopher Allen Jr., 37, of St. Albans, burglary in Prospect April 3, 2023, 18 months in prison; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Prospect April 3, 2023, 30 days in jail; criminal mischief in Prospect April 3, 2023, 30 days in jail; violating a condition of release in Prospect April 3, 2023, 30 days in jail.
Zacharia W. Herbest, 34, of Bucksport, probation violation in Stockton Springs June 4, 2024, five months in jail and probation revoked; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Prospect Aug. 3, five months in jail and $400 fine.
Michael Sentell, 42, of Belfast, operating under the influence in Belfast Oct. 13, 2024, three months 15 days in jail and probation partially revoked; disorderly conduct (offensive words/gestures) in Swanville Aug. 22, 30 days in jail.
Candy Sue Dupree, 38, of Unity, probation violation in Knox July 26, 2025, five months in jail and probation partially revoked.
Rebecca L. Giles, 49, of Windsor, violating a condition of release in Morrill Feb. 16, three days in jail.
Israel S. Robbins, 43, of Waldo, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Belfast May 19, 15 hours in jail.
Jody G. Marr, 48, of North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, fishing without a valid license in Searsmont July 8, $100 fine.
