BELFAST — Just one day after a positive case of Covid-19 was discovered at Captain Albert Stevens School, two additional Waldo County schools have reported they have a positive case.
In a release shared Oct. 17, RSU Superintendent Mary Alice McLean wrote that the virus has also been found in Belfast’s Troy Howard Middle School and Ames Elementary School, which is located in Searsmont. One bus route has also been affected.

BELFAST — Police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred on Route 3 at approximately 4:15 p.m. July 7, according to a media report from Belfast Police Chief Deputy Dean Jackson.
