Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity 16-24. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Sept. 16

    Jason M. Howe, 31, of Belmont, was arrested for disorderly conduct on Searsport Ave. 

    Sept. 18

    David T. Riley Jr., 37, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Main Street. 

    Brandon M. Oxton, 48, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Starrett Drive. 

    Sept. 21

    Patrick B. Mitchell, 32, of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested as a fugitive from justice related to warrants out of Virginia and New York. Mitchell has also was also charged with unlawful possession of a schedule W drug on Ryan Road, and aggravated forgery at Waldo County Jail.
