Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported issuing two traffic citations between June 6-15. Of the two traffic citations, one was issued for speeding and one for failure to yield to the right-of-way. In addition to two traffic infractions, BPD reported the following activity.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    June 7

    Isabelle Hunt, 33, of Rockland, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Route 1. 

    June 8

    Meldon Bates, 56, of Belfast, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on High Street. 

    June 9

    Sara Moscoso, 34, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating with suspended registration on Lincolnville Ave. 

    June 10

    Ingrid B. Mallory, 44, of Carrabassett Valley, was issued summonses for operating with suspended registration and failure to yield to right-of-way on Starrett Drive. 

    June 12

    Kristen L. Dakin, 24, of Belfast, was arrested for operating under the influence on Searsport Ave. 

    June 13

    Jacob Aitken, 26, of Belfast, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Patterson Hill Road. 

    Skyla Gray, 20, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Front Street. 

    Donovan Williamson, 23, was issued summonses for operating without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to provide proof of insurance on Front Street.

    June 14

    Meldon L. Bates, 56, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass on Front Street.
