Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported issuing one traffic citation between May 11 - June 15, for failure to provide proof of insurance. In addition to the traffic infraction, the WSO reported the following activity.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
May 11
William E. Foster, 34, of Freedom, was issued a summons for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Hatch Road in Jackson.
May 21
Meisha L. Rice, 39, of Belfast, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release, attaching false plates, and operating after suspension on North Searsport Road in Frankfort.
May 25
James D. Francis, 35, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and operating without a license on Cape Jellison Road in Stockton Springs.
June 3
Reginald E. Brewer, 55, of Morrill, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Lincolnville Road in Belmont.
June 8
Joshua M. Dinsmore, 31, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on North Maine Street in Searsmont.
June 11
Donovan Williamson, 23, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Miller Street in Belfast.
June 13
Scott Swift, 34, of Northport, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Rocky Road in Northport.
