Camden Police beat

    CAMDEN — Camden Police reported issuing seven traffic citations between April 21-June 7. Of the seven traffic citations, five were issued for speeding, one for an expired inspection sticker and one for an expired registration. In addition to the traffic infractions, Camden Police reported four summonses and three arrests including the following activity.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

    April 28

    John Borzell, 43, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Mark Bennett Jr. for permitting unlawful use.

    Lawrence Singer, 66, of Camden, was arrested on a warrant by Detective Sgt. Curt Andrick for unlawful sexual contact.

    April 29

    Jason M. Whalen, 42, of Camden, was arrested by Bennett for failure to appear, three counts.

    May 7

    Jason H.  Winslow, 47, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Bennett for operating after suspension.

    May 22

    Male juvenile, 17, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Bennett for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.

    May 31

    Brandon C. Woodward, 49, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Sgt. Wesley Butler for operating after suspension.
