Knox County grand jury indictments: Drug possession and trafficking, theft, assault
ROCKLAND - The following indictments against 37 individuals were recently handed up by a Knox County grand jury on June 5. An indictment does not indicate guilt.
Easton Adams, 28, of Owls Head, domestic violence aggravated assault and domestic violence criminal threatening with dangerous weapon on North Haven April 27, 2026.
Daniel P. Barnes, 38, of Rockport, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (cocaine and gabapentin), three counts, and violation of a condition of release all in Rockland Feb. 5, 2026.
Belinda A. Barstow, 69, of Rockport, criminal operating under the influence and operating beyond license condition or restriction in Rockland Feb. 3, 2026.
Travis Bates, 22, of Waldoboro, domestic violence assault and violation of a protection order in Rockland April 10, 2026.
Makayla Batty, 29, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, two counts, (fentanyl powder and gabapentin) and violation of condition of release all in Rockland March 17, 2026.
Joshua E. Berry, 34, of Rockport, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (methamphetamine) in Rockland Aug. 18, 2025.
Tianna Brancella, 30, of Rockland, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs (fentanyl powder and cocaine), three counts, violating conditions of release, two counts, and criminal forfeiture of $1,151 all in Knox County Dec. 13, 2025.
Michael Canfield, 30, of Rockport, eluding an officer, driving to endanger, and criminal speed in Thomaston March 6, 2026; reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon (a vehicle) and driving to endanger both in Rockland March 15, 2026.
David A. Carter, 45, of Washington, domestic violence aggravated assault and violation of a protective order in Washington Nov. 12, 2025.
Kimberly A. Cavallini, 67, of Appleton, endangering the welfare of a dependent person and domestic violence assault both in Appleton Feb. 2, 2026.
Charles N. Collins, 47, of Union, theft by unauthorized taking of more than $1,000 in lobsters and lobster crates from Art's Lobster Dock in Tenants Harbor March 24, 2026.
Patrick Thomas Corcoran, 25, of Rockland, possession of sexually explicit materials of someone younger than 17 years old and unauthorized dissemination of private images, nine counts, all in Rockland during 2024 and 2025.
Jessica A. Davis, 43, of Warren, unlawful possession of fentanyl and violating condition of release both in Rockland Sept. 13, 2025.
Brian R. Day, 45, of Union, escape in Warren May 4, 2026.
Charles H. Dodge, 43, of Rockland, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs (cocaine) in Rockland April 28, 2026.
Michael A. Duffy, 42, of Camden, domestic violence assault in Camden Feb. 13, 2026,
Hollis H. Duswald, 47, of Rockland, unlawful trafficking scheduled drugs (cocaine) and violating condition of release both in Knox County Jan. 4, 2026.
Candice M. Fisher, 45, of Center Tuftonboro, N.H., aiding escape in Warren May 4, 2026.
Keegan Fitzgerald, 24, of Bangor, unauthorized dissemination of certain private images, two counts, in Rockland and Thomaston. The first count occurred in Rockland during Sept. 15-Nov. 15, 2023. The second count occurred in Thomaston and Rockland from Sept. 1, 2028-July 29, 2019; dissemination of sexually explicit materials in Thomaston and Rockland between July 30, 2019 and Feb. 10, 2026.
Dakota Fulton, 29, of Augusta, criminal operating under the influence, driving to endanger, and operating after suspension all in Friendship April 23, 2025.
Lee M. Henderson, 31, Maine State Prison, assault on an officer in Warren Oct. 14, 2025.
Quinton Gordon, 41, of Rockaway, N.Y., failure to appear and violation of condition of release both in Rockland June 9, 2026.
Clifford E. Hilchey Jr., 47, of South Thomaston, aggravated assault, two counts, assault, one count, in South Thomaston June 4, 2025.
Derek S. Hinckley, 41, of Jefferson, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (methamphetamine) in Washington Feb. 26, 2026.
Bruce A. Holt, 40, of Edgecomb, operating after revocation in Thomaston Dec. 8, 2025.
Mark A. Hupper, 41, of Rockport, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking, and criminal mischief at the Rockland Café in Rockland Jan. 20, 2026.
Jaheem J. McWhite, 25, of New York, N.Y., two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs (cocaine), criminal trespass, and criminal forfeiture of $1,170 all in Knox County Feb. 1, 2026.
Jacob A. W. Ortiz, 32, of Union, theft by unauthorized taking and violating a condition of release at Lowe’s in Thomaston from Aug. 19, 2025 through Aug. 27, 2025. The indictment alleges that over $1,000 in store merchandise was stolen from the store.
Robert N. Pagano, 58, of Rockland, operating after revocation in Thomaston Sept. 6, 2025.
Stephen Parece, 40, of Appleton, aggravated criminal mischief and violation of a protective order in Appleton Oct. 13, 2025. The indictment alleges damages to a garage door and other property items exceeding $2,000.
Michael C. Pearl, 40, of Appleton, tampering with a victim in Appleton Feb. 19, 2025, domestic violence assault, two counts, in Appleton Feb. 16 and 18, 2025, and violation of a condition of release in Appleton Feb. 18, 2025.
Gary S. Peters, 56, of Cushing, aggravated criminal operating under the influence in Rockland Oct. 1, 2025.
Seth A. Poland, 47, of Thomaston, unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs cocaine and/or fentanyl in Knox County Sept. 13, 2026; criminal forfeiture of $1,023 in Knox County Feb.13, 2026; unlawful trafficking of fentanyl, one count, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, one count, and violation condition of release all in Knox County April 27, 2026.
Mitchell T. Sawyer, 44, of Thomaston, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (cocaine base) and violating condition of release both in Rockland Sept. 7, 2025.
Jeremy M. Shepard, 50, of Marlborough, N.H., domestic violence aggravated assault, and domestic violence criminal threatening in Appleton Jan. 19, 2026.
Kevin Thompson, 75, of Rockland, domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon (gun) and domestic violence terrorizing with a dangerous weapon all in Rockland Sept. 24, 2025. The alleged victim was 15 years old.
Jason B. Viorla, 40, of Bangor, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs (cocaine) in Rockland Jan. 23, 2026.
