    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported issuing three traffic citations between April 25 - June 1. Of the three traffic citations, one was issued for failure to provide proof of insurance, one for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, and one for a motor vehicle operator using a handheld device. In addition to three traffic infractions, the WSO reported the following activity.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

    April 25

    Karen M. Walton, 54, of Appleton, was arrested for violating a condition of release, operating under the influence, and operating without a license (beyond condition/restriction) on Searsmont Road in Belmont.

    April 30

    Jesse R. Cole, 39, of North Anson, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Belfast Road in Winterport. 

    May 1

    Jacob Whitcomb, 38, of Waldo, was arrested for two counts of failure to appear. 

    May 6

    Andrew Bristol, 28, of Thorndike, was issued summonses for driving to endanger, elevated terrorizing, and elevated reckless conduct on Reid Road, stemming from an incident Sept. 23.

    May 7

    John M. Watson, 38, of Littlefield, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Veterans Highway in Brooks. 

    May 11

    Adam W. Gray, 33, was issued summonses for theft and receiving stolen property on Townhouse Road in Lincolnville, stemming from an incident April 27. 

    May 22

    Tim Johnson, 30, of Northport, was arrested for domestic violence aggravated assault at Saturday Cove in Northport. 

    May 23

    Susan M. Winchenbach, 62, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Searsmont Road in Belfast. 

    Justin Boyle, 28, of Morrill, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Main Street in Morrill. 

    May 24

    Gavin D. Cross, 39, of Waldo, was arrested for two counts of violating a condition of release, and unlawful possession of schedule Z drugs on Belmont Ave.

    May 25

    Ruben E. Kaplan, 20, of Camden, was issued a summons for driving to endanger on Center Road in Montville. 

    June 1

    Sean R. Anderson, 39, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Prescott Hill in Liberty.
