Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported issuing three traffic citations between May 19 - June 8. Of the three traffic citations, one was issued for speeding, one for failure to register a motor vehicle, and the last for unnecessary acceleration. In addition to three traffic infractions, BPD reported the following activity.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    May 19

    Lacey Lawrence, 27, of Skowhegan, was issued summonses for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating a condition of release on Waldo Ave. 

    May 26

    Isaac A. Wright, 43, of Belfast, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release and criminal mischief on High Street. 

    May 27

    Carl C. McIntire III, 29, of Frankfort, was arrested for domestic violence aggravated assault, domestic violence criminal mischief, domestic violence criminal threatening, and obstructing the report of a crime on Chickadee Circle.

    Megan R. Leary, 31, of Searsport, was issued a summons for possession of a schedule W drug on Smart Road. 

    May 30

    Brandon  M. Hodgdon, 26, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on City Point Road. 

    June 1

    Daniel A. Sentell, 29, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was arrested for operating under the influence on Route 1. 

    June 2

    Victoria R. Demmons, 21, of Belfast, was arrested for refusing to submit to arrest or detention, disorderly conduct, assault on an officer, and violating conditions of release on East Ave. 

    June 7

    Stacey Sweetland, of Belfast, was arrested for two counts of domestic violence assault and obstructing the report of a crime on Ryan Road.
