BELFAST - The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity activity March 17 - April 7.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

March 17

Michael Thompson, 43, of Windham, was issued a summons for violating a protection from abuse order on Route 52 in Lincolnville.

March 19

Eric S. Parker, 35, of Frankfort, was issued summonses for refusing to submit to arrest or detention and operating under the influence on Hamm Road in Frankfort.

March 24

Richard L. Porier, 47, of Winslow, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order in Freedom.

March 28

Daniel Crowe, 43, of Frankfort, was arrested for operating after suspension and criminal mischief, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Loggin Road in Frankfort. Crowe was also charged with 11 counts of violating a condition of release at Waldo County Jail in Belfast.
