Spring Gardening outdoor presentation at Merryspring, May 13
CAMDEN — John Fromer will lead an outdoor presentation on Spring Gardening, Tuesday, May 13, at 12 p.m., at Merryspring Nature Center.
This talk will start in the Hexagon with advice for what to do in spring. The program will then look at the different gardens at Merryspring including the Perennial Border, Herb Garden and Pollinator Garden. The group will look at spring perennial maintenance including dividing, weeding, mulching and care of plants to prevent diseases like powdery mildew. Merryspring will also preview its plants for the Plant Sale on May 16 and 17.
This in-person talk is part of the Summer Talk Series co-sponsored by Renys – A Maine Adventure and Camden Riverhouse Hotel.
Attendance is free for members; $10 for non-members.
