The Satellite Club of West Bay Rotary is pleased to announce the winners of its fundraising raffle to benefit Konbit Sante, a healthcare organization in Haiti.
An elegant cedar woodcarving of an egret by David Sears was won by Chris Gallagher. A framed painting on board depicting French & Brawn Marketplace by Christina Eckerson was won by Evan Thomas. A diptych pastel, matted and framed, of puffins by the late Paul Plante was won by Ali Dailey. And a Haitian-made hammered steel wall hanging was won by Erin Flanagan.
Thanks to the generous support from the community, the Satellite Club of West Bay Rotary has sent a $2500 donation to Konbit Sante, where cuts in international funding are making it extremely difficult to provide healthcare to the community of Cap Haitien.
The Satellite Club of West Bay Rotary meets on the second and fourth Thursdays at 40 Paper in Camden from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Guests are always welcome.
