BELFAST — Belfast Police reported two traffic citations March 27 - April 7, both for inspection sticker violations. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported. 

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

March 27

Heath Prior, 32, of Cushing, was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, burglary of a motor vehicle, and failure to appear. Prior was also issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Mill Lane. 

Melissa Keller, 37, of Bangor, was arrested for five counts of failure to appear.

April 1

Samantha Buchanan, 31, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating with suspended registration on Route 1. 

April 6

Thomas Hayes II, 50, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Main Street.
