Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported four traffic infractions Feb. 8-17. Of the four infractions, two traffic citations were issued for inspection sticker violations, one for failure to keep right, and the final citation was issued for failure to register a vehicle. In addition to the four citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Jan. 15 (late entry)
Anthony Philbrook, 47, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after habitual offender revocation on Main Street.
Feb. 9
Dakota Raven, 26, was issued summonses for attaching false plates, operating after suspension, and an inspection sticker violation on Pierce Street.
Albert Aldus, 83, of Belfast, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Main Street.
Feb. 15
Jeffrey Joseph, 41, of Winterport, was arrested for domestic violence assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on High Street.
