Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported four traffic citations between Jan. 8-28, for the following traffic infractions: an inspection sticker violation, failure to provide proof of insurance (two citations,) and failure to register a motor vehicle. In addition to the four traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Jan. 8
Gage Gagnon, 24, of, of Otis, was issued summonses for operating after revocation and theft by unauthorized taking on Stevens Road in Swanville.
Jan. 12
Harold Duprey, 58, of Burnham, was issued a summons for attaching false plates on Pond Road in Burnham.
Jan. 18
Amanda J. Hayes, 43, of Knox, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Bailey Road in Knox.
Angela Philbrook, 36, of Knox, was issued a summons for violation of bail on Bailey Road in Knox.
Joey Philbrook, 35, of Madison, was issued a summons for violation of bail on Bailey Road in Knox.
Jan. 22
Steven Proctor, 32, of Swanville, was issued a summons for domestic violence assault on Oak Hill Road in Swanville.
