Medomak girls soccer tops Troy Howard

The Medomak and Troy Howard middle school girls soccer teams squared off on the pitch Thursday, Oct. 7 in a Busline League regular season contest. 

The scoring began with five minutes off the clock when Scarlett Flint tallied her first goal of the night. 

Ten minutes later, Summer Staples extended the Medomak lead two 2-0 about 10 minutes later, and 3-0 about five minutes thereafter. 

Troy Howard found itself on the scoreboard five minutes later when Stella McCarthy found the back of the net to make a 3-1 contest heading into the halftime pause. 

Haylee Chandler scored a goal for Medomak about 14 minutes into the second half before Staples recorded her third tally with two minutes left in the contest. 

With a minute left in the game, Flint scored once more to seal the 6-1 victory for the Riverhawks.
