WOOLWICH — The Medomak middle school girls soccer team traveled Monday, Sept. 26 to challenge Woolwich and returned home with a victory. 

Medomak got on the board in the first 20 seconds of the contest when Summer Staples tallied a goal. Fifteen minutes later, Grace Townsend extended Medomak’s lead to 2-0. 

Woolwich’s Lilly Karen tallied a goal shortly thereafter to cut Medomak’s lead in half. A minute thereafter Staples scored once more to make it a 3-1 contest at the half. 

Thirty four seconds into the second half, Anna Cheesman scored to make it 4-1 before Sidney Nichols scored 10 minutes later thanks to a Staples assist to make it a 5-1 contest. 

Three minutes after that tally, Grace Havener scored off a Staples assist to make it 6-1.
