Public Invited to participate in Thomaston Police Department Forum
The Town of Thomaston invites all residents and community members to attend a Public Police Forum on Tuesday, May 6, at 6 p.m. at the Thomaston Municipal Building. This forum is an opportunity for the public to share input, ideas, and positive feedback regarding law enforcement services in the community.
In partnership with the Maine Chiefs of Police Association (MCOPA), Thomaston is undertaking an independent and comprehensive review of its police department’s operations. For over 60 years, MCOPA has provided professional development and operational assessments to law enforcement agencies across Maine. Communities looking to evaluate and improve their police services have consistently turned to MCOPA for guidance and expertise.
The forum will offer a platform for residents to voice what they appreciate about the Thomaston Police Department, suggest areas for enhancement, and contribute to shaping the future of public safety in town.
Feedback is valuable; join in helping ensure Thomaston’s law enforcement continues to meet the needs of the community.
