UNION — The People’s United Methodist Church (PUMC) in Union will hold a combined Estate Sale and Yard Sale, Saturday, May 24, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Items for the Estate Sale have been acquired from the sale of a home, while members of the Church have donated items for the Yard Sale.

The sale will be held “rain or shine” outside on the front lawn, as well as inside the church in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a hot dog stand outside, and simple “to go” breakfast food items and coffee served inside.

Within the Fellowship Hall there will also be a bake sale going on; funds raised from the bake sale will be donated to Meals On Wheels. PUMC will be selling kitchen goods and small appliances, sporting goods, linens, tools, furniture (small), clothing, jewelry, books and rare books, children's toys, books, games and puzzles and finally other household goods such as lamps, décor pieces, etc.

PUMC will accept cash, checks and debit or credit cards.

Additionally, space has been given to Aldersgate United Methodist Church from Rockland for their fundraising endeavors; they will be selling their own items at the sale.

All proceeds earned by PUMC will be used for operations of the church as well as outreach in the community.
