BELFAST — The third-seeded Medomak girls soccer team hit the road Wednesday, Oct. 12 to challenge second-seeded Troy Howard in the Busline League semifinals.
In a thrilling contest, Troy Howard edged Medomak 2-1 to advance to the league championship Saturday, Oct. 15
After playing much of a back-and-forth first half, Troy Howard found the back of the net with 30 seconds until the halftime pause when Stella McCarthy scored.
Ting Viena tallied Troy Howard’s second goal of the contest before Summer Staples tallied Medomak’s lone goal.
Medomak recorded eight shots compared to four for Troy Howard.
