BELFAST The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Feb. 28 - March 11.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Feb. 28

Tammy Ray, 51, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Smart Road in Belfast. 

March 1

Tommy-Alan Hewins, 37, of Burnham, was arrested for operating under the influence on Bolton Lane in Burnham. 

March 6

A Newburgh minor was issued summonses for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and possession of alcohol by a minor by consumption on Elm Street in Winterport.
