Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Feb. 16-28.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Feb. 16
Wayne Curtis, 33, of Knox, was issued a summons for violation of bail on Bailey Road in Knox.
Feb. 21
Kyle W. Greenleaf, 25, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Belfast Road in Lincolnville.
Wendy Perkins, 56, of Winterport, was arrested for domestic violence assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention with physical force in Winterport.
Feb. 22
Bryan Hayes, 44, of Belfast, was issued summonses for misuse of identification, forgery, and theft by deception on Landry Lane in Stockton Springs, stemming from an incident July 12.
Feb. 27
James C. Leathers, 25, of Brooks, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Purple Heart Highway in Brooks.
