BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported one traffic citation between Jan. 27 - Feb. 5, for operating after suspension. In addition to the single citation, the following activity was reported. 

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Jan. 27

Derri Lucas, 45, of Thorndike, was arrested for operating under the influence, driving to endanger, failure to give notice of an accident by the quickest means, and refusal to sign a Uniform Summons and Complaint on Fenwick Road in Belmont. Lucas was also issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle. 

Joey A. Philbrook, 35, of Unity, was arrested for operating after habitual offender revocation on Clark Road in Unity. 

Jan. 28

Albert J. Russell, 37, of Knox, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Veterans Highway in Brooks.

Jon C. Twi, 27, of Hudson, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Mountain Valley Highway in Montville. 

Jan. 30

Steven Pomerleau, 52, of Unity, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Barker Road in Troy.
