BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Jan. 4-16. 

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Dec. 3

Erika B. Sypit, 22, of Unity, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Searsmont Road in Searsmont. 

Jan. 4

Dustin Hubbard, 29, of Unity, was arrested for two counts of possession of a schedule W drug and operating after revocation,  on Detroit Road in Troy. 

Jan. 5

Timothy Sweetland, 45, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Curtis Road in Swanville. 

Jan. 13

Samantha Brown, 43, of Searsport, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order in Swanville.
