Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Dec. 21 - Jan. 4.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Dec. 21
Kathleen L. Flynn, 55, of Thomaston, was issued a summons for violating a protection from abuse order on Swan Lake Ave. in Swanville.
Dec. 25
Ginlio D. Martin, 19, of Belfast, was issued a summons for criminal speed on Oak Hill Road in Swanville.
Jan. 2
Angel L. Newton, 70, of Liberty, was issued summonses for two counts of negotiating a worthless instrument on N. Main Street in Morrill, stemming from incidents Dec. 25 and Dec. 28.
Allan M. Hurd, 30, of Liberty, was issued summonses for two counts of negotiating a worthless instrument on N. Main Street in Morrill, stemming from incidents Dec. 25 and Dec. 28.
