Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported one traffic citation between Dec. 5-14, for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle. In addition to the traffic citation, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Dec. 5
Steve Pomerleau, 52, of Troy, was arrested for criminal mischief, domestic violence assault, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, and violating a condition of release on Barker Road in Troy.
Dec. 7
Richard Palmer, 29, of Swanville, was issued summonses for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and two counts of violating a condition of release at the Winterport transfer station.
Dec. 8
Spencer Nicholson, 20, of Jackson, was issued summonses for violation of bail and attaching false plates on Town House Road in Swanville.
Dec. 10
Miguel Mercado, 34, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order on Laurie Way in Swanville.
Jacob Whitcomb, 39, of Monroe, was arrested for failure to appear.
Michael Ames, 36, of Northport, was arrested for failure to appear. Ames was also issued summonses for violating a condition of release and operating after suspension on Marsh Stream Road.
Dec. 11
Joseph Mcbride, 33, of Belmont, was arrested on a warrant.
