BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported issuing two traffic citations between Aug. 18 - Sept. 8. Both citations were issued for failure to provide proof of insurance. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported. 

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

Aug. 18

Tim J. Johnson, 40, of Waldo, was issued a summons for violation of a condition of release on Savage Road in Waldo. 

Aug. 23

Jessica Walker, 38, of Searsmont, was arrested for theft by deception on Higgins Hill Road, stemming from an incident Aug. 6. 

Aug. 29

Branden D. Spencer, 21, of Burnham, was arrested for operating under the influence and unlawful possession of a schedule W drug on Shibles Road in Knox. Spencer was also issued a summons for attaching false plates.

Aug. 30

Lorraine Johnson, 72, of Swanville, was issued a summons for violation of a protection order on Kirby’s Lane in Swanville. 

Sept. 5

Jordan C. Dennis, 36, of Montville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Foy Road in Montville.
