BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Aug. 6-25. 

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

Aug. 6

Taylor W. Plummer, 28, of Swanville, was issued a summons for exceeding the speed limit by 30+ mph on Route 1 in Northport. 

Aug. 7

Richard Charette, 64, of Morrill, was arrested for domestic violence assault on South Main Street in Morrill. 

Aug. 17

Tylor Cutis, 21, of Swanville, was issued summonses for leaving the scene of an accident, violating a condition of release, and operating without a license on East Waldo Road in Waldo. 

Aug. 19

Merlon Lewis, 47, of Jackson, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order on Page Road in Jackson.

Aug. 20

Nicholas A. Parker, 33, of Belmont, was arrested for violating a condition of release and domestic violence assault on Lincolnville Road in Belmont. 

Aug. 21

Monica Hodgdon, 19, of Troy, was issued a summons for criminal speed on Route 7 in Jackson.
