    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported one traffic infraction between July 14 and July 28, for speeding. In addition to the single traffic citation, the following activity was reported. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

    July 14

    Joshua M. Pomeroy, 33, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Cape Jellison Road in Stockton Springs. 

    Robert Greatorex Jr., 31, of Winslow, was issued a summons for exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more on Waterville Road in Unity. 

    Devin L. Strong, 27, of Plymouth, was issued a summons for exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more on Waterville Road in Unity. 

    July 21

    Steven F. Harding, 61, of Waldo, was issued a summons for criminal mischief on Waldo Station Road in Waldo.

    Samuel M. Kohler, 30, of Searsmont, was arrested for operating under the influence, unlawful possession of a schedule Y drug, and violating a condition of release on Bartlett Drive in Searsmont.  

    July 24

    Jeffrey J. Hill, 55, of Knox, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating without a license (in violation of restriction) on Waterville Road in Waldo.

    July 25

    Nicholas G. Philbrick, 25, of Frankfort, was arrested for violating a condition of release and refusing to submit to arrest on Treat Point Road in Frankfort. 

    July 28

    John Devine, 29, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Blanket Lane in Stockton Springs. Devine was also issued summonses for leaving the scene of an accident and violating a condition of release on Route 1A in Winterport July 29.
