    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported two traffic citations between July 4-15. Of the two citations, one was issued for speeding and the other citation was issued for failure to obey a red light. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

    July 4

    Mark R. White, 31, of Unity, was issued summonses for operating without a license and failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle on Mount View Road in Thorndike. 

    July 6

    Silas A. Roberts, 45, of Winterport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on South Main Road in Winterport.

    William C. Ripley, 28, of Liberty, was issued summonses for attaching false plates and operating after habitual offender revocation on Main Road North in Frankfort.

    July 7

    Elisabeth Rice, 19, of Winterport, was issued a summons for criminal speed on Route 1A in Winterport. 

    Dustyn Wood, 31, of Brooks, was arrested for two counts of failure to appear. Wood was also issued summonses for operating after revocation and violation of bail on Moosehead Trail in Brooks. 

    July 8

    Lucas L. Trask, 20, of Winterport, was arrested for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Park Drive in Winterport. 

    Shane Murray, 47, of Prospect, was arrested for domestic violence assault in Prospect. 

    July 11

    Melissa A. Morris, 42, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Knox Ridge Road in Knox.
