SEARSPORT — The Medomak and Searsport eighth grade softball teams squared off Friday, April 29 in Searsport. 

The visiting Riverhawks overwhelmed the hosts offensively at the plate and collected a 25-5 victory. 

At the plate for Medomak were Peyton Eaton (single, two walks), Kendall Simmons (two singles, triple, two walks, RBI), Arianna Sproul (two singles, triple, RBI), Claudia Feeley (three singles, home run, walk), Haylee Chandler (double, two walks, RBI), Cassidy Prock (single, double, three walks), Alyssa Smith (two singles, walk), Chloe Fox (two singles, double, two RBI) and Kehli Maxcy (two singles, walk). 

Feeley, Chandler and Simmons pitched for Medomak and combined for 11 strikeouts, four walks and three hits.
