WALDOBORO — The Medomak eighth grade softball team hosted Searsport for a Busline League contest Tuesday, May 10 and earned a dominating victory. 

Through a strong performance on both offense and defense, the host Riverhawks collected a 21-4 victory. 

At the plate for Medomak were Chloe Fox (double, three walks), Ainsley Frothingham (walk), Alyssa Smith (double, single, walk), Cassidy Prock (two singles, two walks), Haylee Chandler (double, two walks), Claudia Feeley (two singles, walk), Arianna Sproul (double, two singles, walk), Kendall Simmons (single) and Peyton Eaton (four singles). 

Pitching for the Riverhawks were Sproul (three innings, eight strikeouts, walk) and Chandler (two innings, five strikeouts, five walks).
