NEWPORT — The Belfast and Mount View wrestling programs traveled Saturday, Jan. 7 to compete in the Nokomis Warrior Club wrestling tournament. 

Belfast won the tournament with 89.5 points while Mount View finished tied for eighth with 53 points alongside Lawrence.  

Placing for Belfast were Gavynn Young (first; 113 pounds), Hagen Chase (third; 120 pounds), Kaden Bonin (first; 126 pounds), Brian Lemar (third; 145 pounds) and Gabriel Kelley (third; 160 pounds). 

Placing for Mount View were Josiah Miller (first; 138 pounds), Anthony Mathous (third; 182 pounds) and Riley Bryant (fourth; 285 pounds).
