Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported three traffic infractions April 12-21. Two of the traffic citations were issued for speeding while the third was issued for failure to provide proof of insurance. In addition to the three citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
April 12
Destiney Robbins, 24, of Belfast, was arrested for four counts of failure to appear.
April 15
Timothy Sweetland, 45, of Belfast, was issued a summons for violation of a protection from abuse order on Achorn Road.
April 16
Devin Tucker, 25, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence criminal mischief on Piper Street.
David Oakes, 57, of Frankfort, theft deception of over 10k from Searsport Historical Society from July 5, 2010 thru July 21, 2021.
April 18
Joshua W. Ellis, 37, of Rockland, was issued summonses for unlawful possession of a schedule Z drug and unlawful possession of a schedule W drug on Searsport Ave.
