Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported nine traffic infractions between Jan. 20-30, for the following reasons: inspection sticker violations (three citations,) failure to register a motor vehicle (four citations,) speeding, and passing on the right. In addition to the nine traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Jan. 20
Krystal Johnson, 35, of Belfast, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Starrett Drive.
Kevin G. Wood, 35, of Brooks, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Starrett Drive.
Jan. 22
Daniel R. Therrien, 36, of Belfast, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Mill Lane.
Jan. 23
Pia Walker, 53, of Liberty, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 3.
Jan. 24
Travis N. Carson, of Brooks, was issued a summons for driving to endanger on Route 1.
Jan. 25
Benjamin W. Staples, 28, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence criminal mischief on Swan Lake Ave.
