Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported two traffic infractions between Oct. 17 - Nov. 5. One of the traffic citations was issued for an inspection sticker violation; the second citation was issued for failure to register a vehicle. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Oct. 17
Derri Lucas, 45, of Knox, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Starrett Drive.
Oct. 30
Dennis R. Erving, 27, of Yarmouth, was arrested for operating under the influence, violating a condition of release, failure to stop for an officer, and failure to notify a property owner of a property damage crash on Belmont Ave.
Oct. 31
Peter M. Brown, 53, of Bucksport, was arrested for domestic violence criminal threatening.
Nov. 2
Robert Day, 57, of Waldoboro, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and attaching false plates on Belmont Ave.
James St. Pierre, 25, of Belfast, was issued a summons for furnishing a schedule W drug on Northport Ave.
Nov. 3
Paul D. Bacon, 54, of Frankfort, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Public Safety Way.
