Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported two traffic infractions between Sept. 21 - Oct. 8; one citation was issued for failure to register a vehicle and the second citation was issued for speeding. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Sept. 22
Semonie Littlefield, 45, of Belfast, was issued a summons for unlawful possession of a schedule W drug on Route 1.
Sept. 24
Sheldon Snell, 49, 50, of Montville, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Main Street.
Sept. 28
Jeremiah J. Johnson, 25, of Ludington, Michigan, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Starrett Drive.
Sept. 29
Sidney Harris, 36, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release on Miller Street.
Sept. 30
Norman Hall, 63, of Belmont, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Route 3.
Oct. 2
Jason Howie, 32, of Belfast, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Church Street. .
Amber M. Alley, 40, of Lincolnville, was arrested for operating under the influence on Route 1.
Oct. 3
Norman C. Flagg, 37, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release on School Street. More on Searsport Ave.
Michael P. Benjamin, 37, of Swanville, was issued a summons for exceeding the speed limit by 30+ mph or more and violating a condition of release on Searsport Ave
Oct. 4
Steven A. Watson, 64, of Belfast, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Little River Drive in Belfast.
Oct. 5
Cheryl Briggs, 55, of Belfast, was issued summonses for possession of a schedule W drug, possession of a firearm prohibited for a certain person, and violating conditions of release on Poors Mill Road.
