BELFAST — Belfast Police reported one traffic citation between Sept. 6-16 for an inspection sticker violation. In addition to the single traffic citation, the following activity was reported. 

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

Sept. 6

Nathaniel P. Cowperthwaite, 25, of Thomaston, was issued a summons for operating with suspended registration on Route 1. 

Sept. 11

Jason M. Howie, 32, was arrested for violating a condition of release on Church Street.

Sept. 12

Wyatt G. Lucas, 18, of Belfast, was issued a summons for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor on Swan Lake Ave. 

A Montville minor was issued a summons for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor on Swan Lake Ave. 

Rhiannon Welch, 43 of Waterville, was arrested for aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs on Route 1. 

Timothy A. Jennings, 51, of Oxford, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and aggravated trafficking of schedule W drugs on Route 1.
