Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported five traffic infractions Aug. 19-30. Of those five infractions, two citations were issued for failure to provide proof of insurance, one citation was issued for failure to register a vehicle, and the final citation was issued for an insurance inspection violation. In addition to the five traffic citations, police reported the following activity.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Aug. 19
Andrew Gould, 19, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating without a license on High Street.
Aug. 23
Austin Potocki, 31, of Monroe, was arrested for failure to appear.
Aug. 25
Aaron P. Lewis, 28, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1.
Aug. 28
Jacob M. Rose, 22, of Jackson, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1.
