Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity Aug. 14-22.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Aug. 14
Meldon L. Bates, 56, of Belfast, was arrested for failure to appear.
David J. Riley Jr., 38, of Belfast, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating without a license on Searsport Ave.
Aug. 17
Tyler E. Batty, 36, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release on Waldo Ave. Batty was also charged with criminal mischief and violating a condition of release on Waldo Ave on Aug. 15.
Aug. 19
Joseph M. Chamberlain, 25, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Miller Street.
