Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported two traffic violations between July 30 - Aug. 5, with one citation issued for unnecessary acceleration, and the other citation issued for an inspection violation. In addition to two traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
July 30
Anthony R. Knight, 55, of Belfast, was issued summonses for domestic violence assault, aggravated reckless conduct, and aggravated criminal mischief on Patterson Hill Road.
Tim J. Johnson, 40, of Waldo, was arrested for violation of a condition of release on Main Street in Belfast.
Aug. 1
Richard A. Westin, 75, of Deer Isle, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Belmont Ave in Belfast.
Aug. 2
Andrew Gould, 19, of Belfast, was issued a summons for aggravated criminal mischief on High Street.
Aug. 3
Joseph M. Chamberlain, 25, of Camden, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1 in Belfast.
