Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported two traffic infractions June 23 - July 12. Of the two infractions, one citation was issued for an inspection sticker violation, and the other for failure to produce a license. In addition to the two traffic citations, the Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
June 23
Joshua C. Stacey, 40, of Jackson, was issued a summons for operating after revocation on Monroe Highway in Brooks.
June 29
Harold D. Dupray, 37, of Unity, was issued a summons for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Loggin Road in Frankfort.
July 2
Matthew R. Small, 34, was arrested for violation of a protection order on Bangor Road in Unity.
July 3
David Lapointe, 36, of Winterport, was arrested for failure to appear.
July 4
Nickolas G. Philbrook, 25, of Frankfort, was issued summonses for operating after suspension, attaching false plates, and three counts of violating a condition of release on Treat Point Road in Frankfort. Philbrook was also issued summonses on June 28, for operating after suspension and violating a condition of release on Loggin Road in Frankfort.
July 8
Dustyn M. Wood, 31, of Brooks, was arrested for harassment by telephone or electronic communication device, criminal trespass, theft, burglary, and violating a condition of release on Lang Hill Highway in Brooks, stemming from an incident Dec. 22.
