BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Oct. 1-8.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Oct. 2

Andrea Merrifield, 38, of Searsport, was arrested for operating under the influence on Nichols Street in Searsport.

Oct. 4

Dylan Wellman, 19, of Unity, was issued summonses for theft and burglary on Bacon Road in Unity, stemming from an incident Sept. 24. 

Gavin Wellman, 18, of Whitefield, was issued summonses for burglary and theft on Bacon Road in Unity. 

Oct. 8

Katherine M. Behan, 19, of Castine, was issued a summons for exceeding the speed limit by 30+ mph or more on Lebanon Road in Winterport.
