    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Aug. 30 - Sept. 20.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    Aug. 30

    Joseph Pelletier, 65, of Carmel, was issued a summons for driving to endanger on Horse Back Road in Burnham, stemming from an incident Aug. 16. 

    Sept. 11

    Francis Richardson, 27, of Morrill, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, violating a condition of release, criminal mischief, criminal threatening, violation of a protection order, domestic violence terrorizing, and possession of schedule W drugs on Higgins Hill Road in Morrill.

    Sept. 14

    Kevin S. Defoe, 33, of Appleton, was arrested for operating under the influence and violating a condition of release on Belmont Ave in Belfast. 

    Sept. 18

    Miguel Mercado, 35, of Prospect, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Nickels Road in Searsport. 

    Marissa Donovan, 26, of Hampden, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Baker Road in Winterport.
