    BELFAST - The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity July 30 - Aug. 20.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    July 30

    Victoria Burns, 35, of Appleton, was arrested for violating a condition of release and possession of schedule W drugs in Thorndike. 

    Thomas Thomas II, 45, of Thorndike, was arrested for possession of a schedule W drug and violating a condition of release in Thorndike. 

    Aug. 5

    Philip P. Harford Jr., 61, of Montville, was arrested for failure to stop for an officer, exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more, and operating under the influence on Augusta Road in Belmont.

    Aug. 11

    Dennis W. Cash, 28, of Liberty, was issued summonses for three counts of violating a condition of release on Highland Road in Liberty. 

    Aug. 12

    Jessica Seidl, 44, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order on New England Road in Searsmont. 

    Aug. 14

    Rachel E. Gardiner, 37, was arrested for unlawful possession of a schedule W drug. 

    Aug. 15

    Kevin B. Simmons, 41, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Waterville Road in Waldo. 

    Scott A. Theriault, 47, of Burnham, was arrested as a fugitive from justice on Winnecook Road in Burnham. 

    Jeremy Bennett, 23, of Brooks, was arrested for unlawful possession of a schedule W drug. Bennett was also issued a traffic citation for failure to register a motor vehicle on Reynolds Road in Brooks. 

    Aug. 16

    Anthony Glidden, 57, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release on Murray Road in Frankfort.
