Short layover on Owls Head for this osprey

On Sunday morning, Aug. 2, Victoria Charkut and her family (and their cats) were surprised by unanticipated, and possibly emergency, landing of an osprey on their Owls Head balcony.
“He stayed for an hour,” said Charkut. “We thought he might be hurt but he flew off OK.”
They surmise that perhaps the osprey flew into a window, “because he was panting and flustered for 15 minutes or so.”
