The Belfast Senior College will hold its Fall Fun(d)raising Auction Party on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at the Waldo County Shrine Club. 

"Bring your friends for a night of socializing and amusement," said the College, in a news release. "Browse the silent auction items then sit back with delicious finger foods and drinks, ready for the live auction action to begin."

Items to bid on include a night at The Alden House bed and breakfast, a signed archival print of a Jerri Finch original oil painting, “Burning Off," and a variety of other art works, food and craft items.

"You don't have to be a Senior College member or even a senior to attend," said the College. "All are welcome and we'll have items of interest to all ages."

The preview starts at 3:30 p.m. Bidding will take place from 4 - 6 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to stay for continued socializing after the bidding closes. 

The $10 ticket price buys you bidding privileges, free snacks, free non-alcoholic drinks, and the opportunity to socialize with old and new friends. A cash bar for wine and beer will also be available.
