Michelle Kristine Coombs, 53, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was born to Sharon Tolman and Larry Coombs, February 27, 1973 on Vinalhaven, Maine.

Michelle grew up on Vinalhaven and graduated from Vinalhaven High School. She enjoyed riding horses, gardening, animals, cooking, baking, and relaxing on her beach.

Michelle got her love of gardening and canning vegetables by spending time at Charlotte's farm enjoying homemade soda. She got her passion for baking from her mom, Sharon. 

Michelle loved going lobstering and spending time on the water while listening to country music with her father. Most of all, she loved being a mom and making memories with her two beautiful daughters. Her friends will always remember Michelle for her cookouts and sea glass. 

She is predeceased by her grandmothers, Charlotte Coombs and Ruth Gray; and grandfather Penny Coombs.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Larry Coombs and Sharon Tolman; her stepfather, Scott Tolman; her daughters, Richelle and Richauna Walker; her granddaughter, Raelynn Alex; and her beloved dog, George. 

There will be no service at this time. In place of flowers, donations may be made to Vinalhaven Eldercare Services.
